PROFESSOR UZA’S FOUNDATION PARTNERS UAM
A former Vice Chancellor of University of Agriculture Makurdi and the Founder, “Anointed Fingers of Care and Love”, Professor Daniel Vershima Uza has restated his foundation’s willingness to continue to award scholarship to deserving indigent students of the University who have potentials to excel in their chosen field.
Professor Uza made this known on Tuesday, 17th July, 2018 when he paid a visit to the Vice chancellor, Prof. A. R. Kimbir in his office. Presenting a cheque to the Vice Chancellor, the former VC noted that, the scholarship scheme has been ongoing in the University targeting indigent students with a C.G.P.A of 2.5 and above irrespective of their disciplines.
In his response, the Vice Chancellor Prof. A. R. Kimbir thanked Professor Uza for his encouragement and support to indigent students. He also acknowledged the legacies left by the Prof. Uza administration and noted that the University has struggled through the years to improve on them.
In a vote of thanks, the Registrar, Mrs Helen Nyitse commended the former Vice Chancellor for his philanthropy pointing out that, not all privileged people care about the less privileged and prayed God to continue to strengthen founder and the foundation.
