PROFILE OF PROF. NICODEMUS OCHANI AGBULU
Professor Nicodemus Ochani Agbulu was born on 6th October, 1963 in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State. He began his formal Education in 1977 at Emmanuel Secondary School Ugbokolo where he obtain the West African School Certificate in 1981, and proceeded to the College of Education Katsina Ala for National Certificate of Education in 1981.
He further attended the University of Nigeria Nsukka Enugu State in 1988 where he graduated with B.Sc (Ed) in Agricultural Education, M.Ed Agricultural Education in 1993 and a Ph.D Agricultural Education in 1996 respectively.
His working experience began in 1985 where he taught Agricultural Science to students at government Secondary School Ologba in Dekina Local Government Area. Professor Agbulu joined the services of the University of Agriculture Makurdi as a graduate Assistant in Agricultural Education on the 30th July, 1991 and rose through the rank of a Professor of Agricultural Education in 2008.
He served as Head Department in Agricultural Education, Dean College of Agriculture and Science Education and Deputy Dean Post graduate School.
Professor Agbulu has bagged meritorious awards of Excellence in the University of Nigeria Alumni Association in 2011, Award of leadership Excellence in the Science Education Student Association in 2012 and several others.
He has several research experiences through the supervision of students projects/thesis. He is also a member of Nigeria Vocational Education Association and Zonal coordinator for Nigeria Society of Indigenous knowledge and Development.
He has contributed immensely in his field of knowledge in publications, textbooks, proceedings, journals and attended several conferences.
